Does social media compromise journalistic integrity or promote transparency?
Is the golden age of journalism gone for good or has the landscape shifted for the better?
The questions posed in Michael Grimes' article helped me think up a question of my own.
Where are we really now? I am fond of articles that tackle modern media, because it is stil a form of media that is still under construction..
The implications social media has to the current state of journalism, is still something that can't be explained in black and white.
We are still in a state of experiencing these social media. If it is more a tool for constructing better bridges for news, or one that spreads unvalidated and unreliable news: only time can tell.
